"Fuck My Life"

It's pretty gold. Here's one that made my laugh out loud because it's a "your face" joke and I'm always afraid something like this will happen to me.

"Today, I got an email from my professor with my grade for a paper. It said, "Solid writing, but you should have proofread your final draft more carefully." In a moment of annoyance, I typed in the reply box, "God should have proofread your FACE more carefully." My elbow hit the send button. FML"

Essay.

I found another resource in the library. It's basically what my entire essay is based on. I did a book report - no - a chapter report. With some outside references.

But it only took me an hour and a half to write. I'm done worrying about it now.

This is also homework, I'll have you know.

I'm also going to fail the essay because I've found two resources (that are in English) on my topic. On top of that, when you combine those two resources, they don't even come close to how long my essay is supposed to be (the whole two pages that it is). I e-mailed my professor and told her about my dilemma... like 30 minutes ago. Hopefully she won't be angry (she never gets angry so I'm not really worried) and will be able to help me out because I'm in a bit of a hole! I have no problem with having to stay up all night writing the essay. It's only two pages, so I don't really think I'll need to resort to that. I'm just afraid I'll have to BS my way through the whole thing and then end up getting like a C on it. I'm kind of panicked about this whole thing. Also angry with myself for choosing Korean instead of Japanese because I KNEW there would be more information on Japanese but I had to be all... patriotic or whatever. Or CHINESE! That would have been so easy! Baaaah...

Weekend!

Despite meeting stupid people, my weekend was really good! Diana came up and was my Valentine. <3 It was fun.

Friday was a really good start to a long weekend because I didn't have the class I usually have (a three hour long lecture) because that was the day when everyone went in their groups to tour a printing facility. Ours was Signs Plus and it was actually really cool. They did all sorts of signs like the Seattle Premium Outlet signs, the Tulalip Casino signs and all of the Applebee signs. I was colored impressed. So we got that over with in an hour. I came home and watched Ainsley play Okami until she had to go to work then I played video games myself and... probably did homework. Diana got here around 6 and we ended up spending the night watching Howl's Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart and Music & Lyrics. Music & Lyrics is like my second favorite romance movie (my first is Zach and Miri Make a Porno). It was so awkwardly sweet and the songs were pretty amazing. After that we stayed up a little bit and talked then went to sleep.

On Saturday Diana and I went to Abbey Tea Garden for a very delicious tea brunch. Then we went around Fairhaven and downtown and I got a really cute dress for $60 (I wouldn't have bought it but it was marked down from $108 and it's really cute). After that we went to see Friday the 13th... it was ok. It wasn't bad enough to laugh at but it wasn't good enough to really enjoy. After the movie we came back and made a yummy pasta dinner and then headed off to Poppe's. At Poppe's we met a couple of guys who insisted that we were lesbian lovers and wanted us to make out and dance so they could take pictures of us... all of this just because we said we were each other's valentine's (even though I already told one guy that I have a boyfriend). Soo... that was kind of annoying but funny at the same time. They were really drunk so I couldn't be too angry with them. They really wanted us to go to Glow, some new club above Bob's Burgers, but I didn't really want to go anywhere with any guy let alone those guys and I was pretty tired. Also the Gummibear martini that I was drinking was really good so I didn't want to leave. So at about 12/1 Diana and I headed back home and watched half of Music & Lyrics but then I decided to go to bed.

My favorite quote from one of the guys that night was one guy said to me, "You're beautiful. I don't care what race or whatever you are. You are so beautiful." lol... thanks... I'm glad to hear the whole race thing isn't an issue... >.>;;;

Sunday all that crazy shit went down. But later that day I bought Left 4 Dead for $25! Usually it's $50 but because I already have Steam games I got a 50% discount. :D So I've been playing that a lot along with working on one of my Illustration assignments and doing some research for a paper that's due on Friday (only 2 pages so I'm not too worried about it). In any case, I'm not allowed to spend money anymore. I have money but I need to save it for Korea~

OMG! Diana might come to Korea with me! Lisa, I'll need to talk to you about this more but her mom wants her to come with me and it would be really awesome if she could!!

In which I am threatened by a crazy lady

Setting : Downtown Bellingham. Ainsley, Diana and I are on our way to the WAMU ATM to get some cash to pay for our Little Cheerful lunch.

Walking toward the ATM behind a man and a woman. The woman is wearing normal, unnoticeable clothing, the man is wearing jeans, a poncho and boots with spurs.

Me (mumbling) : Whoa, he's wearing spurs. Neat.

At this point, I didn't think anyone heard me because no one said anything. I didn't really care because I was mainly talking to myself anyway. We reach the ATM.

Lady : Hey bitches. Whatchoo lookin' at? You think he's pretty sexy, huh? (referring to her male companion (I never really figured out what type of relationship they were in)).

Diana, Ainsley, Me (ignoring them)

Lady : Hey, hey BARBIE! Hey you in the green coat. Hey, bitch.

Me (in a green coat but very much NOT Barbie) (ignoring her)

Lady comes walking toward us

Lady : Hey, bitch. You got a problem with us? You think he's pretty sexy, huh? Well he's taken. Stop calling him a sexy bitch, you got it? I'll fuck you up. (turns and leaves)

Diana, Ainsley, Me : Uuuuuuuuuh....

Despite that rather confusing interaction, we walk over to the Riteaid to get Ainsley a map she needs for an assignemt. Crazily enough it's closed (wtf?). So we head back to where the Little Cheerful is. On our way crossing the street the lady and her man companion approach us again.

Lady : Hey, you got a fucking problem? Stop calling him a sexy bitch, bitch. Leave him the fuck alone.

Me : I didn't say anything.

Lady : You got a problem with his spurs? You think his spurs are sexy, huh, bitch? I'll fuck you up if you don't stop calling my son sexy. He's with me, bitch.

Me : I just said I thought they were cool. (While I was kind of terrified she'd try to start a fight, in which case I would definitely end up hurting her as I would do anything to protect myself and she was very likely under the influence of something, I was pretty impressed that she heard me.)

Lady : Yeah, well don't say any fucking thing about him. He's with me, bitch.

Man : I don't want you saying nothin' about me.

This whole time we're practically standing in the middle of an intersection and people are passing by us nervously and chuckling at the situation.

Me : Ok, I'm sorry.

Lady : Yeah, don't call my son sexy, bitch.

Me : Ok, I'm really sorry.

Lady : Don't look at him that way. I'll fuck you up!

Me (at this time, regretting my decision of wearing a dress in case I needed to defend myself) : I wasn't looking at him any way. I'm sorry.

So at this they turn around. They happen to be walking the same direction we are so it seems like we're following them.

Lady : You want my sexy son, huh? Stop calling him a sexy bitch. I'll fuck you up. (I'm pretty sure these are like the only phrases she knows) Don't mess with the Natives, bitch.

Diana, Ainsley and I turn around because we don't want to seem like we're following them and we wanted to go to the police station to let them know that there are a couple of hostile-like people roaming the city and they should keep an eye out.

Lady : Oh you're going the other way? Fucking bitch. I'll fuck you up.

We reached the police station only to find that it was CLOSED. This pissed me off more than being call a bitch 1,000,000 times. So we stood on the corner for a little while waiting for the couple to be out of sight. We got into the Little Cheerful and then enjoyed a very nice brunch with my favorite waittress. ^^

So... yeah. I wasn't so terrified for my life but I didn't want to get into a fight and I wouldn't doubt she had a knife on her or something.
Probably one of the most awkward and uncomfortable experiences of my life. I'm never commenting on a stranger's shoes ever again.

I just drank a glass of chocolate miiillk. It was really good; very chocolatey.

This weekend was really good. I was kind of bummed I missed Betsy's party but I got to spend time with my friends up in Bellingham which I actually never really do (small wonder why I don't really have many friends up here). Friday night we just drank the night away and it was really fun and delicious. haha...

Yesterday Ainsley and I watched Seth Rogen movies all day and did homework and stuff. It was pretty good times and I love Seth Rogen movies (and Seth Rogen). I also went running at the gym. I managed to run a mile straight (which I can never do on a tredmill since I think they're dirty liars) which was pretty nice. I only did like 2.5 miles total, though. I usually do around 3... but I haven't ran in a long time. My dad came up to go to a concert with a few of his friends. I was invited to go but I had work to do and, as much as I love my dad and I really love hanging out with him, hanging out with him and his friends while they're all drunk (except for Jeff) would have felt kind of weird so I opted not to go. I did go to dinner with them which was cool. I really like my dad's friends but spending the whole night with them would have been weird, I think.

Today I did homework pretty much all day. Got pita pit for dinner. Talked to Minguk for like 10 minutes. Buuh... I still really need to work on my communication skills. The talking wasn't as awkward this time, though. We both actually came forward and were like, "I want to talk to you and I like talking to you... I just don't really have anything to say." It made me feel better because at least he understands and can relate. It's tough when you've been apart for so long, especially when both of us have been pretty much doing the same thing every day so there's really nothing new or interesting to report on.

Anyway, I'm going to go look for my water... then go to sleep. Monday tomorrow, yayyy...

He was hanging out with Lisa, Tony and Ste and that's always a happy time. I'm totally jealous of them, though. I miss my Minguk. :( Hopefully I'll get to talk to him more and I will be able to practice this whole... awkward way suckage on the phone business. I was kind of pre-occupied with having people over that I couldn't really hold a conversation too well.

School is Hard

Every week it's like I'm crawling toward the weekend. But the only reason why I look forward to the weekend (most of the time) is because I won't have classes to pull me away from doing homework so I can do homework all day without interruption. Thank goodness this weekend will be different. I just finished a bunch of projects. The beginning of new projects usually go slower so I have time to relax a little and hang out with my friends in the beginning. So I will be doing that this weekend (along with some homework so I don't get too flustered later on). If this is what it's like now, I can't even imagine what it's going to be like next year. At least so far this year I've been getting plenty of sleep. I'm curious to find out how it will be. Actually, I just remembered that I have a big assignment due on Monday so I do have a lot to do this weekend. But tomorrow night I'm going to forget that I am a design major and just get with my friends and get really drunk. On Saturday I'm supposed to go to an AC/DC cover band concert with my dad and his friend, Jeff, but I'm worried that I might not have time for it. I hope I will because I like hanging out with my dad. Anyway, I need to go and study some more for this midterm I have tomorrow. But I just wanted to complain a little bit about how much my life sucks right now. At least I have friends in the design program that I can hang out and complain with, hahahaha..... ha... haha..

1. (Since I was just drawing) Most of the time I don't even know what I'm thinking when I think about how I'm a design major because I don't like most of the stuff that I do.

2. I have a really tough time making lists like these because I tend not to think about stuff like this about myself.

3. I really, really don't like talking on the phone. I feel awkward and I get distracted easily. I get distracted easily enough when I actually have the person I'm talking to right in front of me. I recently realized that I really need to fix this problem because It's becoming very troublesome.

4. I have to sleep facing a wall. Or at least start out that way.

5. I used to really love watching really creepy Japanese-style horror films but after watching a few I've realized that I linger way too long on them and they tend to cut into my sleeping time and I usually have to leave the lights on for about 3-6 months after seeing whatever movie in order to fall asleep comfortably.

6. Besides Japanese-style horror movies I love horror movies. Except for The Hills Have Eyes because that pretty much the only movie that made me come really close to vomiting while watching it.

7. I prefer dogs above all pets.

8. Speaking of animals, penguins used to be my favorite animal until that one documentary about penguins came out then it became everyone's favorite animal so I got really sick of hearing about them. Now it's the cuttlefish.

9. As much as I love some very choice anime series(es?), I really don't like most of it.

10. I drink a lot of water. I also have to pee a lot during the day, though.

11. When I eat I usually take my glasses off and/or tie my hair back. Probably because I'm a pretty messy eater.

12. Like most of my family (at least my parents and my sister) I'm really competitive. But I think I lose pretty gracefully.

13. Almost nothing in the world feels more comforting to me than giving my big dog (Mocha) a big hug.

14. Since I've driven from Tacoma to Bellingham and vice versa so many times, I tend to zone out whenever I do it. Which I guess is pretty dangerous and I should probably stop doing that.

15. When I was younger I was actually terrified of going to jail. Because of that I promised myself I would never get into any sort of trouble and I would always do as I was told... it's been working out pretty well so far...

18. As much as I loooooove playing video games I don't really have a very long attention span for most so it usually takes me a really, really long time to beat them if I ever end up beating them at all.

20. I've been to way more Decemberists concerts than any other concert but they're not my favorite band at all.

21. Even though I'm pretty productive, sometimes I wish this attention span issue that I have were ADD so I could get on meds then be SUPER productive. (it might be ADD... I haven't gotten diagnosed or anything)

23. I get annoyed really easily but I also can be freakishly patient with some people and some circumstances. Most of the time if I'm trying to teach someone something, I can be incredibly patient.

24. I think I was a pretty big bitch when I was younger, especially to some of my family (like middle school/early high school). But that's when I was an emo-wanker. I'm better now. :D
